In this large administrative database analysis, researchers found that the higher the volume of CHF admissions to a hospital, the lower the risk of 30 day death, 30 day readmission rate, and hospital cost. As is true with many other clinical conditions, higher volume centers appear to perform better than lower volume centers for CHF care (abstract)
