DDimer good negative likelihood ratio for ruling out dissection

In this meta-analysis, a negative DDimer (<500 ng/ml) had an overall good negative likelihood of ruling out aortic dissection (-LR of 0.06). It can therefore be useful in identifying patients who do not need further imaging (abstract)
