Early sepsis bundle effective in many practice settings

In this multi center trial of an early sepsis bundle (early blood cultures, antibiotics, fluid, pressors, with targets for BP, CVP, and oxygen saturation) in 5 community and 6 tertiary hospitals, in-hospital mortality was reduced by 14% (43% before bundle and 29% after bundle) and LOS was reduced by 5.1 days. Early sepsis bundle treatment is feasible and effective in real world practice (abstract)
