Eradication of MRSA carriage

In this systematic review, researchers found 4-7 days of nasal topical mupirocin the most effective regimen for short term eradication of MRSA nasal carriage. It was 90% successful at 1 week (but down to about 60% effectiveness by 2-52 weeks follow up) (abstract)
