Patient education reduces fall rates

In this multi-center trial of older adult inpatients, a multi-media fall reduction education combined with health professional follow, significantly reduced the rate of falls, but only in cognitively intact patients. If targeted toward the right patient population, this type of intervention can reduce the risk of falls (abstract)
