In this small cohort of patients with ASA-associated peptic ulcers, they were randomized to PPI + ASA or clopidogrel. Ulcer healing at 12 weeks was almost 90% in both groups, indicating that PPI therapy is very effective in healing ulcers, even in patients that require ongoing anti-platelet therapy (abstract)
