Pulmonary artery diameter predicts COPD exacerbations

In this observational trial of patients with COPD, the pulmonary artery to aorta ratio (PA:A ratio) >1 was significantly associated with a history of and future severe exacerbations. This can be used to predict future severe exacerbations (abstract)
