Updated guidelines for febrile neutropenia

The IDSA has updated it’s guidelines on febrile neutropenia (last updated in 2002), stressing the value of early identification and treatment of all patients, with an emphasis on categorizing patients as high or low risk of infection, and tailoring the use of antibiotics, antifungals, and antivirals depending on their risk (abstract)
