Use of Up-To-Date improves outcomes

In this retrospective analysis of Medicare beneficiaries in US hospitals, those hospitals that subscribed to Up-To-Date had shorter LOS, higher core measure adherence, and lower mortality among some conditions. The benefit was most pronounced in smaller non-teaching hospitals. Based on this, it may be very cost effective to provide subscription coverage to Up-To-Date for hospital systems (abstract)
