Earlier HAART is better for HIV

In asymptomatic HIV patients with CD4 counts above 350-500, those who initiated HAART early had higher survival than those who deferred treatment (abstract). We should refer asymptomatic HIV patients for early HAART initiation, even with CD4 counts >500.
